May 17, 2019
On Mother’s Day we enjoyed having a meal at Bayview Takeout, on Beals Island. Afterwards we took a ride up around Columbia before returning home.
Sunday was a nice day to get things done in and out around the home-front. I took care of the dandelions I picked the day before and cooked them up for supper. Probably this will be our last fresh mess this season.
Carroll and I both had appointments in Ellsworth and Gouldsboro this week on Monday May 13. I thought we were all done this month but guess not we have a few more to go too.
The school district had a half day on Tuesday for a workshop for the teachers, this definitely breaks up the day for everyone. Not enough time between runs to get anything done.
By the time this comes out I will have news on what is happening in Boston as I will be visiting with my grandchildren Asa and Mabel for a couple of days. I hope the weather will be a bit nicer while I am there.
My flowering shrubs are way behind this year. I think if we get some sunshine and warmer weather they will all pop out at the same time.
Up Coming Events.
