A busy week again, on Monday the 6, I took the Track Team to MDI for their meet, and on Wednesday I did some cleaning at the Burnham Tavern to get it ready for the upcoming season.

While I was out and about this week I dug some lovely dandelions in Machias, Addison and Columbia Falls and had two nice messes of them for supper this week and also put up ten pints for the winter. I think the season is way behind this year, usually the greens are on before now.

Sixteen member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Rumery Chapter #46 turned out for their stated meeting at the Masonic Lodge in Addison Friday evening May 10. Three of the members came from Ellsworth Irene Chapter. #97 to attend.

On Saturday 25 folks gathered for the Hannah Weston Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution Grave Marking for Revolutionary War Soldier Pvt. John Bucknam at the Great Hill Cemetery, in Columbia Falls and Union Hall. The program as follows:

Soloist "Amazing Grace" and "Some Gave All" by Debbie Kelley,

George Washington's Prayer at Valley Forge, Hannah Weston Chaplain, Roberta Hammond,
Patriotic Music by Dr. Ruth Ahrens.
Taps: Sons of the American Revolution by Kevin Woodward

Refreshments were served afterwards at the Union Hall.

On my way home I stopped and got some more dandelions to enjoy this coming week.
